Shelley Deck is a Canadian Artist and Arts Educator who operates her “Catnip Republic Productions” company from the cute studio (behind her tiny house) in Ituna, SK.

When Ms. Deck is not teaching at Kelliher School - and creating amazing dances, dramas, music, art or videos with her talented students and staff - she can be found walking her Norwegian Elkhound (Loki) or cuddling her two cats: Charlie Tuna and Jax (Jax is polydactyl)!

Shelley has earned both a B. Ed. and B.A. (Vis Art) from the University of Regina, SK.

She also successfully defended her M. Ed in Arts Education Thesis at the University of Victoria, BC, in 2010.

Since she started teaching on 1992, Shelley has earned a permanent professional teacher’s certificate in both Alberta and Saskatchewan.
